Cut a video down to the good part.

Trim the beginning or end

1. Import your clip.Open NeoCut, choose Media and import a video from your device. Choose portrait, landscape or square in Project settings to suit the finished video.
2. Select the clip on the timeline.Drag its left or right end handle inward to shorten it. On a phone, pinch to zoom into the timeline if the handles are too close together.
3. Check the new start and finish.Play through both ends. Leave enough space for a spoken word or a movement to finish naturally.

Remove a section from the middle

1. Place the playhead at the first cut.Select the video clip and press Split.
2. Make the second cut.Move the playhead to the end of the unwanted section, select the clip at that position and split again.
3. Delete the middle piece.Select only the unwanted segment and remove it. Move the remaining clip to close any gap; on a phone, hold before dragging. Snap can help align the clips.
4. Listen through the join.A clean picture cut can still interrupt a word. Undo and adjust the cut if needed.

Keep the original, save the edit

Editing the timeline does not overwrite your original file. Save a portable backup with Save project + media when you want to reopen the edit later. Export a finished MP4 at 720p free without a NeoCut watermark.

Multiple tracks can overlap in time, so check other video and audio rows when removing a section. A gap in one track does not mean every other track is empty.
